King's Rush is a board game variant of Chess that relies on traditional movement patterns of Chess pieces, while transforming the traditional chess board into a set of unique and entirely new gameplay scenarios through newly added mechanics and objectives. This project was created in the fall of 2015, and was a solo side project that I worked on. Players have enclosed token economies that they must manage, and they win the game when they have successfully collected all of their tokens. Players must balance their purchase of pieces needed to compete with their opponent along with the rate they collect their tokens to win the game. Dice are incorporated into gameplay as well, offering a unique way for players to collect more tokens.
